CLUB Championships

Our Club Tennis, Badminton and Fitness Championships are a series of events open to Premium, Unlimited Racquet, Tennis Racquet, Badminton Racquet and Gym members that take place during the summer months. The events are a mixture of one day/ evening competitions which culminate in a centre finals day in September. The events are a perfect opportunity for our members to get competitive in a fun, friendly and always social competition.

2023 Club Championships

The ARC Club Championships will be taking place during August and September.

There are events for tennis, badminton, table tennis and fitness. These will be organised by our Competition Lead Marian Vinall. All the events for Tennis and Badminton are played over one day/evening.

All adult finals will take place on Sunday 10th September so you need to be available on this date in order to play.

Formats will be either Round Robin or Compass Draw in order for everyone to have lots of tennis. In the Tennis there are Singles, Doubles, Over 50s, Open, U8,U9,U10 and U18 events.  All  entries for the tennis will be online via LTA and the tournament will close on July 26th.

This is a great opportunity to play against different people in a fun competitive environment and of course it is all free as part of your membership. In the doubles events, partners will be drawn before the event. The Badminton will have Genderless Singles and Doubles.

2023 ARC Fitness Club Championships

Saturday 19th August 1-4pm at ARC Fitness

On the 19th August ARC Fitness will be hosting our Summer Club Championships for all our members! 

The event will be free for all of our gym members and will involve some fun and friendly tests of your fitness, strength and coordination!  It is a great opportunity to put yourself out there, and see how far your fitness has come since joining ARC, but also a chance to meet more members and feel a real part of the community spirit we are building here at ARC.

We encourage as many of you as possible to come along and get involved or even just come and support the event and your fellow ARC members!  The workouts will all have scaling options so they are completely achievable for all levels of fitness.

Plus, the top 3 men and women will go forward to ARC Finals day on the 10th September. 

This is a chance to compete for the title of ARC’s Fittest Member!
