DISABILITY SESSIONS

Atlantic Racquet Centre is an accessible and welcoming facility for all members of our community. We run a variety of inclusive racquet sport sessions for children and adults with physical and learning disabilities as well as for those suffering with mental health conditions. We know the power of racquet sport and activity for people with specific needs and we’re passionate about offering experiences that harness that power.

BRAND NEW for 2024 - Inclusive Badminton Sessions

Our BRAND NEW inclusive badminton sessions will take place weekly on Mondays and Saturdays on our indoor Badminton courts. The sessions are funded by Badminton England and open to anyone of any age and to all disabilities and impairments, both physical and learning. It’s a chance for people with physical or learning disabilities to take part in a series of fun games and activities with their friends and families. The sessions are run by our expert coaches and are tailored to fit the specific needs of the participants.

Session Type:

• 6 weeks of FREE taster sessions

• Starting on Mon 3rd, Sat 8th June running until Mon 8th, Sat 13th July

• Followed by 6 weeks of subsidised sessions at £2.50 from 16th July onwards

• Disability Badminton Festival for all participants on 31st August
