TENNIS COMPETITION

Participating in competition is a really important part of your child’s development and forms a key part of our ARC Youth Racquet Tennis Pathway.

Competition takes various forms, so we’ve created this useful page to help you understand the different types that your child might get involved with.

Match Week

A fun informal competition that we run in the last week of term during all of our coaching sessions. It’s our way of teaching children about matchplay and giving them a taste of competition.

How to Get Involved: Just come along to your session as usual, no need to pre-book or enter.

Team Challenge

A fun, friendly team competition allowing players to put into practice the skills they have developed in their coaching sessions in a more formal but safe and supportive environment, with players at a similar stage. We run these events during the school holidays and they are included in your ARC Youth Racquet Subscription.

How to Get Involved: We’ll send out a booking link a few weeks before each event in our weekly Racquet Newsletter. Make sure you are subscribed to this newsletter so your child doesn’t miss out on taking part.
