Part-Time Cleaner – Atlantic Racquet Centre – Bideford
Atlantic Racquet Centre is looking for a part-time cleaner to assist our volunteer workforce in keeping the centre clean and looking its best.
The centre is an exciting new community racquet & fitness facility in Bideford which currently has 6 outdoor tennis courts, 4 indoor tennis courts, 3 Badminton courts and 2 table tennis tables. Once completed, the facility will also offer squash courts, a café area, 2 fitness studios and a large gym.
The successful applicant will work independently under the direction of the centre manager. They will work all over the centre, cleaning, disinfecting, dusting, polishing, and vacuuming a variety of indoor spaces and areas as well as replenishing supplies where required.
The ideal candidate will be fast working, punctual and professional with experience of cleaning work in similar environments. An interest in sport & leisure and the ARC vision & mission is desirable.
The position will consist one 1.5 hour shift per week before the centre opens at 9.00am (specific day and exact timings flexible). Pay will be slightly above statutory minimum wage p/h.
Start Date: January 2020.
Acceptance will be subject to satisfactory references and a DBS check.
